Irish Independent: ‘All-out price war’ expected as VHI slashes the cost of its plans again

Health insurance expert Dermot Goode says the fact that VHI is again cutting prices means it is ramping up the price war it started. The move will see families save at least €150 a year.

“This is good news for consumers as it will benefit most people. The reaction of other insurers to this will be interesting. Now we have a real price war.”
