Irish Independent: Buying a home ‘harder than ever’, majority of people believe.

A new survey by protection specialists Royal London Ireland captures the public mood when it comes to the housing market, with 69% of 18-34 year-old’s surveyed feeling it’s more difficult than ever to buy your first home.

Head of sales at Royal London Daragh Feely said: “Homeownership has fallen in Ireland from 72pc of all housing units in 1991, to 67.5pc in 2016.
