Irish Mirror: Work done by stay-at-home parents in Ireland ‘worth salary of €44,000’

A stay-at-home parent in Ireland is doing work worth a yearly wage of €44,000, it has been estimated in new research carried out by protection specialist Royal London. The Census in 2016 recorded 454,700 people who said their main job is to look after their home or family. And figures calculated by Royal London claim that roles carried out by parents at home could add up to €845 per week.
