The Times: Crackdown on fraud helps to cut cost of car insurance


Jonathan Hehir, MD of, said the decreases had come about in part due to insurers’ greater willingness to tackle fraudulent claims as well as government-led initiatives. “We hope to see these prices fall even further into 2019 but for this to happen more work needs to be done — particularly to tackle the fraud and claims culture that is prevalent in Ireland when it comes to motor insurance.”
